“With freight” adds a flat sea-freight estimate to a West African port; import duty, customs clearance and inland delivery are paid by the buyer on arrival.
We filmed the used car market in Guangzhou and asked the sellers their prices. A 2019 Toyota Corolla with about 90,000 km was 33,000 yuan (about $4,900), a 2021 Corolla 68,000 yuan (about $10,100) and a 2022 Toyota Camry 2.5 with 28,000 km 128,800 yuan (about $19,200). These are asking prices in China, before freight: add about $2,250 for sea freight to a West African port. Import duty and clearance are paid by you on arrival.
Not a real one. A Corolla advertised online at $2,000 or $3,000 is a scam. The cheapest Corolla we filmed in Guangzhou was a 2019 car with about 90,000 km at 33,000 yuan, about $4,900. Older Chinese makes go lower: a 2017 Zotye with 85,000 km was around 31,000 to 32,000 yuan, about $4,700.
A 2024 Jetour with 13,000 km was 88,000 yuan (about $13,100), a 2020 Lexus ES 200 139,300 yuan (about $20,800) and a 2023 Tesla Model Y with 3,800 km 188,800 yuan (about $28,200). Dollar figures are at the exchange rate of September 2026.
No. It is the seller’s asking price in yuan, and it is negotiable, more so when you buy several cars. Sellers often write it in units of 10,000 yuan, so 12.88 on the glass means 128,800 yuan.
Yes. Before purchase the car is inspected, test driven and checked for accident history, and we ask the seller for its test reports. What we find comes with the quote for that specific car.
Yes. Cars built for the Chinese domestic market are left-hand drive, which suits Nigeria, Ghana and most of West Africa. They are not suited to right-hand-drive markets such as Kenya or Tanzania.
No. The site takes no payment and holds no deposit. A request for quote creates no obligation, and nothing is charged until terms are agreed directly with a sourcing manager.
No. Every figure here covers the goods and the sea freight to your port of discharge. Import duty, clearance and inland delivery are paid by the buyer on arrival, and the rate depends on your country.
