XCMG crane truck inspection in China: what Hayk checked

In his Xuzhou factory video, Hayk says he checked the truck’s VIN. He also explains that the remote control was not ready, so he could not show the crane operating. The later cab and exterior walkthrough adds detail, but does not complete that missing test. This report follows the video published on 30 September 2026.

Watch the three inspection excerpts

This is a reading of the public visit video, not a technical inspection certificate. A check reported by Hayk, a feature visible in a walkthrough and a completed operational test are different kinds of evidence. The video is in English; the notes are translated.

What the visit established and what remained open

What the visit established and what remained open
Moment in the videoWhat is recordedWhat to request next
VIN check and the missing demonstration
01:17 → 01:49
Hayk says he checked the VIN. He wanted to see operation, but the remote control was not ready, so he could not show it.Request an identity record for the exact vehicle and keep the operational demonstration open until its evidence is available. This excerpt does not establish a passed test.
Shacman cab and crane controls
01:49 → 02:55
Hayk names Shacman X3000, shows the cab, describes a 12 speed gearbox and points out the crane controls and intended remote control.Confirm the specification against each vehicle’s identity and documents. The video discusses more than one truck and mentions both 380 and 400 horsepower; do not combine them into one confirmed specification.
Tyres, operator position, body and supports
02:55 → 04:00
The walkthrough covers tyres, an operator position, the body, supports and a spare tyre. Hayk also mentions a 13 tonne figure. These are walkaround observations and spoken descriptions. Request the crane identification, manufacturer load chart and the agreed test results separately; this clip does not demonstrate the stated lifting capacity.

The useful result is an explicit open item

The clearest finding comes early: the intended operational demonstration could not be shown on this visit. That gives the buyer a specific follow up request. It does not establish that the crane failed, or that a later demonstration never happened.

A cab tour, exterior footage and a reported VIN check can document part of a visit. They do not close an unfinished functional check. Keep the identity, observations and outstanding evidence together in the order record.

What to ask for in the written inspection record

  • The exact vehicle identity, chassis and crane model, with reference photos and the agreed specification.
  • A list of checks completed, findings and items that could not be checked.
  • The missing control and operational demonstration, with results provided by qualified supplier personnel under the applicable manufacturer procedures.
  • The relevant manufacturer documents and load chart, plus an explanation of any specification differences.
  • A record of how open items were resolved, who confirmed them and which photos, videos or documents support that conclusion.

Agree the scope before arranging a visit

At about 04:26, Hayk says he can also inspect goods bought separately. For a new request, identify the location, exact equipment, current stage of production, access arrangements, required deliverables and deadline. Ask for a written scope and fee before scheduling.

This report does not publish a customer name, private order reference, transaction price, shipment confirmation or acceptance document. It describes the public video and does not assign its trucks to another case study or catalogue listing.

Questions buyers ask

Did the truck pass a complete operational inspection?

The video does not establish that. At 01:17 to 01:35, Hayk says he checked the VIN but could not show operation because the remote control was not ready. No subsequent test result or acceptance document is published in this report.

What should I request after a visit like this?

Ask for a written record identifying the exact truck and crane, completed checks, open items and the evidence needed to close them. Request the missing demonstration and its results from the supplier, carried out by qualified personnel under the applicable manufacturer procedures.

Can Hayk inspect equipment bought separately?

At about 04:26, Hayk says he can also act as an inspector for goods bought separately. Ask for current availability, location coverage, inspection scope, deliverables and a written fee. The video does not provide an inspection price or certification.
